One of the most respected skiers in the game, Clayton Vila is known for his crazy urban antics and incredible style. From close-out rails on two story buildings, enormous death gaps on and off of features, wallride transfers, and stairset handrails barren of snow that kink, twist, and turn leaving no margin for error; Clayton does it all with flow and style. Not bad for a kid from Rhode Island. Don’t miss out on this incredible edit from Mr. Vila.
K2 = Serious Fun
Our best days on the mountain are not measured by winning races, they are measured by the number of ear-to-ear grins, high fives, pole clinks, fist bumps, and the echoing of hoots and hollers shared among friends. It’s about making the same run, on the same lift, lap after lap, season after season – because it’s just that damn fun. Skiing lets you escape from the outside world into a realm of constant enjoyment. When we develop our products, we aren’t trying to beat anyone down the mountain but rather capture the true spirit of skiing that translates into products for you, our athletes, and us, the all-mountain skiers.

When a late spring dump puts some snow back on the ground, Clayton Vila and friends get out and jib the ‘ol backyard rail.
While the competition scene steals the spotlight all season, Clayton has been lurking the streets of North America, robbing four second clips from behind people’s backs. He has proved to be one of the most prolific film skier’s by putting out three full street segments with Stept, Teton Gravity Research, and Poor Boyz Productions last season. Now, you get to see his best shots from all three movies, all in one segment, exactly how he wants it. Edited by the man himself, check out Clayton’s best segment yet as he creeps his way to the top of the street skiing game.

“We are the Missfits – K2’s female freeski team – and this webseries is our brainchild. The aim of the series was to stoke out girls on women’s freeskiing and inspire them to create their own content. We didn’t set out to prove anything to anyone – our goal was to give a light hearted, behind the scenes look at what we do. We wanted to add more female freeski content to the internet and decided to get out there and instigate a project of our own. We were lucky enough to have a rad company behind us to support our experiment.
There will be 4-5 episodes dropping throughout the winter, featuring Brita Sigourney, Anna Segal, Lexi Dupont, Maria Bagge and other K2 athletes such as Andy Mahre, Collin Collins, the Stept Crew and a number of others who managed to video-bomb our shoots. Filmed throughout the 2011/12 season, we shot on location in the park-scene of Colorado, the tranquil back-country of Idaho, in the massive European alps, and a number of other awesome locations.
You may love it, you may hate it. We don’t really care cuz we had fun making it.
We got Cam, Clayton and Sean together in the early season Woodward at Copper for a day of some park shredding. Even though these guys spend a majority of their season on the streets, they can still bring that Raw Sh*t to the slopes.
An extra special, extra credit assignment from the Summer School Crew! Once school is out, its nothing but pure madness on hill as the guys link up with all their friends for some good times on snow.
Join the crew in the final episode of this seasons Summer School. Will they study enough to pass the final exam?!? Push play to find out!
